i.e., ‘learning’ is both beneficial and harmful to us.

By the time you’re my age, or if you already are, you’ll probably understand what I am about to write now.

‘Learning’ is a process by which we perceive a stimulus, record it in our memory, and do some analysing on…

here’s a rant … I tried structuring it, but it ended up just like the topic it is about — random, haphazard, free-flowing, out of control.

I mean, isn’t it; isn’t ‘Love’ stupid?

It makes you so happy one moment; another, it makes you so sad and messed up. …

Writing about the movie ‘Khamoshi’ reminded me of the first, and I guess the only time I got asked for a dance.

The guy had selected the song well, even gave his phone to a friend to film the whole thing — I was clueless. We were both wearing kurtas and who would’ve thought we’d be ‘couple-dancing’ in kurtas! Look how hard we’re trying to improvise. Those old black/green-board days… devoid of good camera phones… when everyone didn’t ‘just know’ how to dance. The struggle was real. Reminiscing is a tricky thing to do… it takes you places further than those you intended to visit in the first place.

As I wrote about what the Independence Day meant for me, I recalled my Nani-Nanu’s old home. Their home, which became our home post school, and in vacations…

Last night I was chatting with a friend when the clock struck 12 and the day changed. Like a true patriot, and a funny person, she broke our conversation and wished me a Happy Independence Day using a WhatsApp sticker. 😁

That got me wondering, what does the Independence Day…

First love… is like the first rain of monsoon… what a beautiful petrichor it brings up… you can never forget what rain smells like, can you? First love is something like that… you can’t really forget what it felt like… Young, and in love, it’s a crazy high, it’s like…
